Knowing what’s going on from newspapers, news, views, reviews and being confident in myself, and my view of the world from an artistic perspective and then I paint, Donald Trump sticking two fingers up to media, when he was running for president, Syrian refugees, big chief Joe Crow 102, R.I.P. Pinocchio drunk on k cider, it’s really my ex pal who stole my contract phone, got another phone, I also like drinking beer and smoking hash, although I’m against legalisation, also like going to the park which is beneficial.

What makes me -ME? I am merely a comment on all that ever was and all that will ever be. I am a part of this expanding universe as a creative being, guided by those before me to manifest a life of love, compassion and piece that may inspire those to follow.

What makes me me….my love of teaching, teaching yoga and meditation to children, to the elderly, to those who suffer, to pregnant goddesses , changing lives through love, instilling love and confidence of ones body however it feels looks and reacts. If I can give a little every day I’ve done my work and I’m happy. Also What makes me me is all the love that I’m surrounded with from my children, my friends and my family feeling their love allows me to pass it on!

Making art is a kind of meander that, after a while, seems to trace the outlines of a person’s unique nature, as well as pointing toward something universal. I think that as artists, we are involved in a kind of shamanism, gives us a kind of relationship to ourselves and to that which is greater.

Smoking cigarettes and solitude, to work with the passion in my heart to uncover it and find the joy and fly! I love wood engraving and printing my blocks, I love my printing press and the smell of ink. I love walking with my lurcher and knowing where the wren nests. I love my garden, tending it and watching it grow- I need to feel that magic. When I am bored I watch clouds and think of drawing or painting. Sometimes I do. Sometimes I don’t. I always try to smile at strangers [it might be the only smile they see all day] and I try to be a feather and breathe like a whale.

The place where I grew up is the center of Tokyo. However, I had been getting sense of strong familiar to nature when I was child, through spending time in there. I started to have interest in animism after I began to study painting. Japanese Buddhism, Shinto, and Celtic thought for example. I live in a forest at present, and have been enjoying the blessings of nature. I sometimes feel keenly I am a tiny part of nature, in a short term of long history.
