Well, what made me the person I am and how I view life, was born out of a fraught, sad, frustrating and weird childhood. I had to grow up quick, so I could get to grips with what was happening in my life and try to make sense of it all. My Dad is a bipolar schizophrenic, when he was on a high he would revert back to and relive his army and police days, and I would be brought into this bizarre fantasy world as his comrade! He used to get sectioned about 3 to 4 times a year. As a result of this my Mum became agoraphobic, and it fell to me to do a lot of stuff kids shouldn’t have to do. But despite all of this distress my parents were always caring and I was never in any danger. And on top of all this I had undiagnosed dyslexia and dyscalculia so my school years were hell and I dropped out of the educational system unnoticed at 15. And probably, unsurprisingly I’ve been fighting clinical depression since I was about 13.

So what I’ve learnt in life and what makes me who I am, is that life can suck, big time, but you can’t blame and point fingers you have to be able to understand. So that’s why I am extremely empathic and considerate to others, learn to understand and not to just judge. That’s what makes me, me!

I hope this is what you wanted to know. Sorry if this answer is little long winded, but I thought it necessary!
