What makes me is the understanding that reality is infinite and ever expanding in all dimensions.  Be that knowing people’s feelings, details of a market, effect of one’s actions on change, questions on why we are here, how we are here, what’s on the internet (!)etc.  And that as a person, no matter how clever, experienced or gifted our knowledge of all such aspects measures no more than a school ruler or at best a surveyor’s measuring staff.
What makes me me is trying to extend that measure but more importantly, learning to be comfortable with not knowing beyond that measure.  The former is obvious but mastering the latter is a lifetime’s work and in its mastery lies the antidote to hubris and arrogance.  I still have a long way to go!
