number 541 I wrote about me being me because of my heritage and of the many experiences I’ve had. Experiences that have come to me either by choice or by random events. I live both by the fear and the love of the unexpected. I thrive, at times, by stepping outside of myself and then to gaze back within myself and to marvel at worlds that I hadn’t entirely engaged with. I scan through old family photographs and regret how short each and all our lives are. Evidence of which show how illogical parts of my psyche all appear to be.

number 525 Music, love and affectionate relationships teach me a lot and inspire me to do something. Poetry and cinema also play a big role in finding me myself. Also, great artists that I have interacted with, the way they think has registered somewhere in mind. All this could be me as far as I am feeling at the moment.

number 519 What makes me, me? My need to stay individual and to create art. When I was 2, I declared I was going to be an artist and I have stayed true to this. I find it impossible to separate my need to create from who I am… even after a major illustration deadline I then pick up a pencil and draw for relaxation! I can’t even imagine who or what I’d be without my art – that’s what makes me, me!
